Eileen Brackens ~ President
Agreeing to a second term as CRWC President, Eileen is a life-long Alexandrian. She received her BA & MBA from Marymount University with majors in Accounting & Finance. Eileen and her husband of 46 years, Bob, raised two sons. She retired in 2009 from the Communications Workers of America as Executive Assistant to the Secretary-Treasurer. Eileen still consults part-time in accounting & tax reporting and her husband owns an Independent Car Dealership in southwestern Virginia. She is a long standing member of St Rita Church on Russell Road. A member of CRWC since 2012, Eileen has enjoyed serving as Recording Secretary, Hospitality Chair and two terms as Treasurer.
Kerri Kupec ~ 1st VP, Program
Kerri is legal counsel and communications director at the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF). She obtained her J.D. from Liberty University where she served on the Federalist Society’s executive committee. Kerri earned her BA in Political Science from CUNY Queens College. She is a member of the District of Columbia bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.
Linda App ~ 2nd VP, Membership
Linda App (MBA/CPA) had a 30-year career in banking, public accounting, and government finance. She has served on a variety of boards with numerous non-profit organizations in the fields of education, homelessness, the arts, etc. Her interests include natural health, Bible study (history and prophecy), and current events (Truth vs. Fake News). She is concerned about the Left’s control over the media as a major contributor to the decline and division in American culture. Linda is thrilled to have found CRWC and loves spending time at the CRWC table at the Farmers’ Market. She is married and has two sons, both Eagle Scouts.
Nancy Pfeil ~ Corresponding Secretary
Nancy Pfeil has been a resident of the Washington Metropolitan Area since 1962 when her father was stationed at Andrews Air Force Base. She has been a resident of Alexandria City since 2003.
Upon receipt of her undergraduate degree she began her federal career with the Department of Defense (DoD). Over a 35 year period she worked for a number of DoD Departments and Agencies. Her career culminated with a position for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Comptroller). She retired from federal service in 2014. Nancy has a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Science in Computer Systems Management from the University of Maryland University College.Nancy has one son who lives in North Carolina. Both Nancy and her son are avid hockey fans. Nancy also enjoys classical music, and has worked as a volunteer at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for 10 years.
Krista Price ~ Recording Secretary
Krista Price has been involved in Republican politics since Ronald Reagan’s 1984 campaign when she was a college Republican. After college, she worked on Rep. Vin Weber’s (R-MN) 1986 successful re-election campaign as Assistant Press Secretary and Volunteer Coordinator. She then came to Washington where she worked on Capitol Hill doing political direct mail fundraising for several Republican senators until she started her own direct mail company, Price Communications, Inc. In 1997-98, she worked as a docent at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, CA.
She has been active in the community through church, homeschool, and Bishop Ireton High School where she was the secretary of the PTO among many other roles. Krista has been married to her husband, Louis, for 29 years and has two college-age children.
Suzanne Morrison ~ Treasurer
A long time Realtor with Mcenearney Associates, Inc in the Old Town office, Suzanne is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Virginia Association of Realtors (VAR) and the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR). In addition, she is a graduate of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Marketing and Selling Historic Homes.
For many years she has actively volunteered with TWIG, raising funds for Alexandria Hospital, volunteered for the Historic Garden Week tour and recently with the Alexandria Symphony (SOLA) and her homeowners association. She and husband James reside in Alexandria.
